Help us put a smile on a child’s face this Christmas
As we enter the festive season, it is important to consider those less fortunate.
Every year we ask for your help in giving a child a gift at Christmas – and we need that help more than ever!
Leeds Children’s Charity at Lineham Farm is dedicated to brightening children’s lives. For some of the families we support, Christmas as most of us know it is simply not possible, due to finances and other difficulties.
Every child deserves to feel happy, and this time of year can be particularly hard on those families already struggling.
We’re looking for gifts to be donated before the 8th December so we have enough time to distribute them. If you’re thinking of getting involved, we’ve created a list to make a little bit easier to choose and to make sure we have gifts for everyone too.
- We must ensure all gifts are collected by 8th December to guarantee we can distribute to the many children and families across Leeds.
- We can arrange collection from your premises for a specific date, or alternatively we also welcome you to the farm for our Christmas Giving event.
- Gifts do not need to be wrapped, but if you’d like to wrap your gift, please may you label it gender and age specific, with a description of the gift.
- Although we mostly support children from 7-11yrs, we can accept gifts for all ages.
- New gifts only please.
We need toys for all gender and ages from babies right through to teenagers (so the whole family can get something to open). See some ideas below:
