What is the Leeds Children’s Charity Christmas Gift Appeal?
Our Christmas Gift Appeal brings joy to children across Leeds who might otherwise go without a present this festive season. With your support, we collect gifts from individuals, families, community groups and corporate partners, and distribute them through the schools, local charities, community groups and social services we work with.
Every gift you give makes a real difference, helping children and families experience the magic of Christmas.

Why Your Support Matters
For some children, Christmas can be a particularly difficult time. Families may be forced to choose between heating, food or presents, while other children may be living in care or facing challenging circumstances at home. By supporting the Christmas Gift Appeal, you can help ensure that:
- No child in Leeds goes without a Christmas gift.
- No parent or carer faces the festive season unable to provide for their child.
- Families feel hope, joy, and the warmth of the community around them.
Every gift, big or small, brings happiness and hope to children who need it most.

Donate a Gift
We are looking for new gifts for children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers, so every child in a family can receive something special. Please do not wrap gifts, as this allows us to match presents appropriately. Please note we cannot accept second-hand or used items.
Gift ideas include:
- Crafts, colouring books, art materials and creative kits
- Board games for family fun
- Lego and construction sets
- Dolls, action, animal or dinosaur figures
- Cars, trucks and play mats
- Books and educational toys
- Musical instruments
- Pyjamas, slippers and snuggly clothing
- Toiletries and small cosmetic treats for older children
**Please do not donate any toy guns or knives**

Gift drop-off and collection
To ensure we reach as many children and families as possible, all gifts mustbe dropped off at the charity before Tuesday 9 December 2025. We do have limited availability to collect gifts too.
Drop-off of your donations: You can drop your gifts off at Lineham Farm between the hours of 9am – 3pm, during the following dates:
- Monday 24th November – Thursday 30th November
- Monday 1st December – Thursday 4th December
- Monday 8th December and Tuesday 9th December

Request a collection: If you are unable to drop-off your gifts, please contact Megan (megan@leedschildrenscharity.org.uk) or Lisa (lisa@leedschildrenscharity.org.uk) to request a collection of your gifts. We will be collecting gifts on the 25th and 27th of November and 2nd and 4th of December 2025.
