Yes, we do charge for CSR days. As a charity, we need to cover the overheads of the day to make sure the corporate social responsibility activities you take part in are valuable to the charity’s beneficiaries, first and foremost.

The donation associated with a corporate volunteering day at Lineham Farm covers the wages of the staff who manage and facilitate our volunteering programme. Donations also cover the purchase and maintenance of PPE and other practicalities.

The price of a corporate volunteering day varies depending on the size of your group and your level of support for the charity. Please get in touch with our team for more information.

Unfortunately, due to the popularity of our volunteering programme and the limited availability of our team, we are not able to offer opportunities to companies who are looking to source a one-off team day. CSR days are limited to organisations who are able to build a longer-term relationship with the charity.

Lineham is a farm, so please come in sturdy clothes you are prepared to get a bit muddy. We recommend:

  • Outdoor footwear that can get wet, muddy or paint splattered (walking boots, wellies or old trainers, for example)
  • Waterproofs if it’s due to rain (we do not carry spare wet weather clothing)
  • Sun protection, when appropriate

We’ll agree the details of your corporate volunteering day and what to bring with you in advance, but it’s sensible to plan for:

  • Water
  • A packed lunch
  • Any necessary medication (e.g. EpiPens, inhalers, allergy tablets)
  • No valuables, we cannot accept any loss of personal belongings
